Frances: I remember the occasion of the photo. We were in Austria and had been made to walk several miles from Innsbruck to some village billed by Sam as very exciting, where we would have lunch etc.. Of course when we arrived the village had no restaurant with the exciting prospect of having to walk all the way back. This was a protest and I think we may have succeeded in getting a bus back - certainly we didn’t walk and obviously we wouldn’t have taken a taxi. I don’t remember Gay being there but judging by other photos taken at the same time (snow, ski lifts etc.) she must have been there.
